I cant see McKenna leaving Ipswich, he's loved there and will want to give them at least one season in the Prem. But regardless, he would represent a risk to us. As well as he's done, he has ZERO Prem experience.

Wouldnt have expected anything else. RDZ taking the team he brought with him. Would have been odd to leave them behind.

Gutted he's going but if its has to happen glad its on our terms. My guess it that RDZ's demands were too much for Tony, and knowing this would mean a decent job offer would temp him away, Tony has then decided that we'll end things now, on our terms, with plenty of time to find a successor...

Not really. I think im being hopeful with my upper tier idea. But if the club are serious about wanting to improve atmosphere its something they would have to eventually look at. Or just accept how it is.

Its not the extra numbers that could help, although it might a little, but its more doing something about the acoustics of the north stand. A small 5-10 row tier above the current north stand would help project their noise.

The atmos is mostly, as others have said, a reactionary thing towards how the game is going. Good game, fast flowing football = good atmosphere. The only real thing the club could do in order to help atmosphere probably isnt really possible, in increasing the north stand. It's just poorly...
