[Other Sport] Why do tourists love pigeons?

Me and my missus used to do it wherever, now tends to be just on holiday. Never feed birds though.

It gives them a sense of enormous well being. PARKLIFE!

[Albion] PBOBE to join Roberto De Zerbi for his post-Man Utd press conference

No, but I reckon you are quite close to someone who has been.

[Albion] RDZ to un-named club for €5m?

I wouldn't have thought a PL club next either, but I can't imagine TB letting him be available to any PL club without there being some hefty compensation to the club, whereas him taking a job in another league is less of a problem, and less likely to have significant compensation attached.

[Albion] RDZ to un-named club for €5m?

I would expect there to be something due to the club if he takes a job before next season starts. Especially if it was a Premier League club.

[Albion] PBOBE to join Roberto De Zerbi for his post-Man Utd press conference

I agree, but it also seems that ever since he joined, in June 2012, you have been on NSC, defending any and all criticism of PBOBE, and before he was appointed here, your account didn't exist. If your posts were not so short, I would have to assume you were he.

[Albion] RDZ goodbye speech in full.

I think it was most likely to have been about retaining players. The clubs ability to attract young talented players requires there to be some moving on of the current talent to make space in the squad for the new. To do it would mean upping the wages budget, not reaping the transfer value of...

[Albion] RDZ goodbye speech in full.

More likely wage budgets, and ability to retain players and reject offers.

[Albion] RDZ goodbye speech in full.

If we were making £120M profits from sponsorship, tickets, merchandise and broadcast money, we would have the right to feel let down at not upping the budgets. Player trading is not reliable income.

[Albion] Oh dear, what have you done Tony...

It is a strong squad, when all are fit, but also a lot of inexperience, and a well liked coach just vacated. It's not the easiest situation to take over, and some of the names mentioned as candidates, would likely see it as a gamble.

[TV] What is believed to be the most profitable TV programme ever made in the UK?

It's going to be something shit, Benny Hill Show or Top Gear. Should be something like Life on Earth, or This Is England.

[Albion] What was your favourite moment during Roberto De Zerbi's tenure?

Gross giving us the indication the game was over v Chelsea, Declan Rice's deeply depressed post match interview, making Liverpool look silly at the Amex.

    [Albion] Injuries

You could say that the short break between seasons, and the extra Europa games are the likely reasons, as they are the obvious differences in workload. Or you could say that these differences could have been compensated for with a less intense training schedule. Maybe training has been a bit...

[Football] Dan Ashworth's garden is looking good again

I bet Dan Ashworth has his main cutlery, knives AND forks on the left, side knives and forks in the middle, soup spoons on the right. Desert spoons across the bottom, the sugar bowl has its own silver spoon, and teaspoons are kept with the bone China tea cups.

    [Palace] #cpfc

I know they are getting a bit giddy, but I do think he will be a great manager for them. I would love it if we were battling Palace for a Champions league spot next season, so long as we snag it and they don't quite make it.

    [Humour] Harmless work pranks

In a reverse of the normal teasing of apprentices, two apprentices set up their supervisor for this one. One lad went to the supervisor, and told him he wanted him to have a word with the other one, who was using a table brick saw, (a large disc cutter that sprays water onto the blade to keep...
