I was going to say a mix of New Order and the Pet Shop Boys.
I like it!
I feel like it would be a solid song on an award winning album… but there’s one or two others songs that go even bigger..
Less of the dickhead. It was cider not beer.
I contacted the club to move seats as the fella next to me spent the entire game talking about the Simpsons.
Easy. On football manager, I’ll take over other clubs that I dislike, and then buy the players I want out. Liverpool got Milner back for 60m, Dahoud to palace. Lampety usually gets picked up for a decent amount anyway.
I spent all the cash on Ivan Toney and a bunch of wonderkids.
Maybe TB...
Agree, those young lads are very annoying.
I might write to the BBC “points of view style” and ask if they can make one where they start in London and end up in Australia so I’ve always got episodes to watch. Such a great show and they do an amazing job with the filming.
Incredible country. I’ve never visited somewhere so respectful, efficient, and clean.
For Kyoto, I enjoyed Arashiyama and it was short 15 min train journey from the center https://www.insidekyoto.com/arashiyama-bamboo-grove. There’s also a cute town and different temples so you can spend a...
Wow! I’m impressed you managed that first half on plan. I remember it being hot from the start and just not being able to cool down. I ran London last year on the same training and it was 40 mins quicker than 2018 so times must have been a lot slower!
Good luck to everyone running! And enjoy...
There’s something very special about the London marathon as both a spectator and runner.
As a spectator I’ve always felt it has that FA Cup Final day type feeling.
I’ve run all the Abbotts world major marathons and London is still my favourite.
The weather is looking good. I did it back in...
Fair play getting over to the game from Isle of White for so long. That's some commute! Also good point re the away games. I typically stay in London when I'm over from the US so that is a big plus.
Wetherspoons does serve a purpose.
15 or so years ago I was absolutely broke and lived directly opposite one in London (bedroom view) along with 7 Africans and no kitchen other than a microwave.
I could eat in Wetherspoons for less than a microwave meal. Monday - Burger and a pint for 3.99...
Your point is really helpful. I gave up my season ticket when I moved out of the country 8 or so years ago. I typically make 10 games a year and use Albion+. It's usually just me, so I've found it easy enough to pick up a ticket on the exchange.
I'm now getting the option for a season ticket...
Do the Birmingham owners want to get an NFL franchise? - I remember the Jags being linked with a move to Wembley, but I could never imagine an NFL franchise in Birmingham!
On another note, I respect Brady, but I don't believe he will ever add value to a football club besides the commercial...
Agree re the affordability, but after a few years of Liverpool, I'd bite your arm off to live in Barcelona or Madrid.
Barcelona and Madrid are bigger clubs than Liverpool (despite the financial issues) and even more so for an Argentinian. They'll both be even bigger after Klopp leaves, and...
I always thought Australia was more of a ecstacy/pill nation because of the crazy high costs of getting cocaine into the country so this is surpring. I just googled and it said "A gram typically costs between A$250 to A$400" They're clearly earning too much money.
I remember reading a...
Interesting that a few GAA players have been picked up from the IPP https://www.bbc.com/sport/american-football/68661901.amp
I mentioned it on the previous thread but I think there’s more chance of a kicker successfully making the crossover vs the high profile names.
I’ve used the SA80 and 9mm in the British Army. I also got to use the HK53 on a range in Northern Ireland and that was quite an experience.
I’m based the US now and find it crazy that anyone can get license to carry with little or no training.
