I'm a bit wary for two reasons:
1) It's incredibly annoying when someone higher up the food chain comes and cherry picks us. It'll be galling for Ipswich to lose the manager that got them back to back promotions.
2) I've not seen Ipswich play so know little about him other than his...
In particular feeding them?
I'm in my local park where obviously there's plenty of pigeons. Every 100 yards or so there's a swarm of them around a group of tourists who all seem to be having the time of their lives feeding them.
Why?
Wherever you go where there are pigeons you'll find...
Would you swap our season for theirs?
Would you take getting thumped 4-1 by them, them spending a week top of the league and them playing a season in Europe - the first and only in both clubs history - including trips to Marseilles, Amstersam, Athens and Rome with wins against all four...
This is pretty much my view too.
I thought Potter had taken us as far as we could realistically go. RDZ has taken us further and opened the door to us being an attractive proposition for a level of manager above where we were two years ago.
I've solved it.
Make the north stand, or a decent chunk of it, safe standing and stand where you want within that area. Only sell x season tickets for the area, allowing a certain percentage for pay on the day or whatever the modern equivalent is.
Bish bash bosh you get a bit of noise and...
Are the palace fans still waving their bed sheets in protest at their matches? no shared vision, no structured plan. Parrish out. Yanks out.
Is that still a thing for them or has getting a new manager, getting their best players back and winning a few games suddenly convinced them that...
Fence for me.
Players dont really need one with us. We've shown multiple times that we will sell. I feel they're more suited to a team like palace who have shown a marked reluctance to sell.
On the other hand if it meant we could buy a superstar for 30m, get 2 years of high class...
I've not kept my eye much on league two this season. I thought they were struggling down the bottom of the league. Was that last season instead? Or have they gone on a rampage up the league?
I was going to make a joke about my vote going to saka. Turns out he's actually on the young players list. For about the 6th year in a row!
It really should be for a breakout player not established internationals.
I'd vote for Palmer for that reason. Or mainoo if palmer was considered...
Didn't Spurs come second the year that Leicester won the premier league?
Imagine coming second to the biggest fairytale in 40 years of English football only to move country and be on the receiving end of the biggest fairytale in European football. That's some bad luck.
I hope we don't lose Steele. I think he's an invaluable squad member in terms of personality and attitude and in that sense would be very difficult to replace.
