Quicker, can actually pass a ball, good vision. I'm not saying Hawkins is bad, just that Lynch is (in my opinion anyway) better.

Putting to one side for a moment Joel Lynch's attitude, he is a better player than Hawkins, so should have started the Season as a first choice centre back. Had he done so, he would not have handed in a transfer request, would still be happily at the club and we may well be in a better position...
