I counted the times Torpey could have been expected to have won a header when he came on. Answer 7.
He headed the ball 2 times.
Actual headers in the general direction of one of our players, ONCE.
So what is the value of a slow target man who seems unable to even jump now??

I agree Frazer.
The reason he wasn't winning many headers was because he was jumping way too soon so by the time the ball reached him his feet were nearly back on the grass.

he's the only 6 ft 2" striker that i know who can jump up for a header and end up 5ft 8" !!!!!
He jumps up and ducks his head at the same time !!!
Also see the pics on the OWS from the city game - there is a great photo of him jumping for a header with his eyes shut - NUFF SAID the guy is a joke !!!

Should have been DID know where the net was as he hasn't scored this season yet.
That means we will have 8 non scoring strikers.
