    Lynch to Forest then...

I think it is quite simple really, Adams doesn't fancy him as a player. It happens at every football club when a new manager comes in. Martin Allen has put six players on the transfer list at Cheltenham, he said it's nothing personal either.

Virgo at the back, Livermore in midfield.

    Lynch to Forest then...

It's always been Mickey Adam's policy, he's quoted it enough times in the past, so why would he change it now?

I mean stepping up from our youth ranks and progressing with the Albion, Cullip, Brooker and Jarrett are not examples I would give. I was talking about Robinson, Cox and Lynch.

Yes perhaps Adams told him he was just trying him out for the Northampton game, but it's still a bit strange that with Hawkins being injured he chose to drop Lynch for the Scunny game.

So now Lynch is out on loan for a month and Hawkins is out injured for possibly six weeks, who would people partner Elphick with? Bearing in mind we now have no naturally left sided central defenders in the squad that are available for selection. I would put Virgo in with him, he is wasted in...

I thought keep the shirt meant if you come in when a player is injured and you play well, you keep the shirt? How come this didn't happen to Lynch after Northampton, also bearing in mind Hawkins was carrying a hernia injury. This contributed to Hawkins having a nightmare against Scunthorpe IMHO.

How do you know it was Andy Whing's man? Are you in the know to Mickey Adams' tactics and team talks? For all you and I know Whing could have been covering for Elphick, when Elphick should have been in the position. Or you could be correct and Whing was the defender making the mistake. I love...

    Lynch to Forest then...

Very true we seem to have had a few players here in the past few years who have looked good in their debut season, but have then not pushed on to the next level. Will Elphick break the mould?

    Lynch to Forest then...

I would have thought that the position that goal was scored from would have been the prime position that the right sided centre back should have been marking, not the right-back. Who incidentally at least made an effort to try and head the ball away.

    Good point.

What like Elphick's positioning for Walsall's goal on Saturday? At least Lynch doesn't aimlessly hump the ball forward and thereby conceding possession to the opposition as much as Elphick does?
  13. Southover Street Seagull

    Lynch to Forest then...

Yes but then aren't you now speculating?
  14. Southover Street Seagull

    Lynch to Forest then...

Sounds a like a very good summing up of the situation to me.

    Lynch to Forest then...

When Elphick has learnt the art of how to bring to ball out of defence and make a decent pass, then he will be a better player than Lynch.

    Lynch to Forest then...

Joel Lynch is not in the same league as Leon Knight, Brighton are is only club so far, at the same stage in Lynch's career Knight had been to a bout three clubs!

When has Lynch said he is bigger than the Albion? Am I missing something here?
