The unsettled Glenn Murray has not travelled to Yorkshire, due to further groin soreness.

Bad news for Mrs Murray then whose agony in t'south gets worse by the hour

Jamie Smith plays instead of Mark Wright and Davies makes the bench.
Bold decision giving young Jamie Smith a start. Hope it pays off. Liked what I saw of him in pre-season.

He should be bolder and play 4 4 2 to try and create. We don't have the necessary guile or cunning in midfield without Dicker in there and without a foil for Dickinson (Forster) we don't play to strengths.

That said, I hope I'm proved wrong and that we grind something out to get our season going.

El-Abd needs to stick one on Jordan Rhodes early on, by the sounds of things.

Dissapointed with the line up.

We have virtually gone with the same formation in which has seen us score 0 goals in our two other league games. We have replaced Mark Wright (who I think is potentially our most threatening midfielder) and replaced him with a league debutant.

We have our best midfielder on the bench and another highly rated midfielder in Thornhill on the bench.

We have Forster our club captain and most experienced player on the bench.

All in all, I can see us losing comfortably today but lets hope not!

Come on the Albion!:ascarf:

Perhaps Slade has set us up to try and draw, I would say that Smith would be a more defensive right midfielder than Wright. Could be a day for spoiling tactics, especially as Huddersfield seem to be very strong this year.
