Surely in comparison to Coventry, Brighton must seem like Paris, New York or Milan ...

Normally Brighton as a town is refered to as trendy but seems the football team is not, despite being sponsored by a very creditable record label.

I went to Uni at Warwick, Coventry is a shithole.The only kind thing I can say is that compare to some places in the Wild West Midlands it is better

Lanchester Poly for me,probably now Coventry Uni.Slap bang in the middle of town,opposite the cathedral.Used to be some decent pubs,but as for the rest of the city centre ,it was indeed as quoted........but worse!

Cov Evening Telegraph was about the worst local rag I've read,so some spotty hack using the wrong word is no surprise.

But to be honest,we should be beating unfancied teams like Coventry.

two good things to come out of Coventry are the Specials and some Jaguars about 40 years ago, can't think of anything else.

went to Brighton yesterday, and its the same as it was last time I went, busy!

can't think of any bands as good or cars that came from Brighton, the SUnbeam Alpine 'Harrington' was a bit spesh, but thats from Hove
