Lynch to Forest then...

well if he thinks he is too big for the club why would anyone wish him well?

he'll be getting abused by every brighton fan going in a few seasons

When has Lynch said he is bigger than the Albion? Am I missing something here?

Don't be confussed. Joel Lynch is a twat from the same class of twats as Leon Knight.

Speaking a number of ex-pros that still hang around the club, Joel Lynch is not rated by anyone at the club except Joel Lynch. He appartently is very poor in training and has a very poor attiude, and all the people I've spoke to, said he simply is not good enough, although he thinks he is!

Whilst there is talent in there somewhere, I feel unless he sorts his head out, he'll go the way of Leo Knight.

I mean, come on, if you left out of the team and that team wins 3 out of 4 games, it hardly time to throw you're rattle out of the pram. To be told by Adams he's starting the next game, and basically telling the manager he doesn't weant to play, hardly suggests we're dealing with a model pro here!

Joel Lynch is not in the same league as Leon Knight, Brighton are is only club so far, at the same stage in Lynch's career Knight had been to a bout three clubs!

I think it's fair to say he is more talented than Elphick. Don't get me wrong, I think Elphick is great but Lynch could clearly play at a higher level.

Agree with that.

Out of these two there's CBs only one of them has the potential to play in the Premiership. And it ain't Elpkick.

Adams obviously prefered Hawkins to Lynch, and as already stated we started the season well. Lynch threw his toys out of the pram and obviously that pissed MA off. When then given a chance he refused it and yet again wants out.

Could someone please tell me why Joel Lynch is an asset to Brighton and Hove Albion, because right now all he is doing is drawing a wage and sitting in the Sportsman on a Saturday.

He has shown ablity... in patches and shown also his ability to produce a shocker or two. So in my opinion my unsure whether he will perform to the level required on a consistant basis.

Right now i'm glad he isn't at the club.... not saying good riddence but certainly could do with time to either get on with his career elsewhere or realise he isn't as good as he thinks and time to knuckle down and work hard at becoming a footballer. Seems he doesn't want to work at being a success here so maybe a change of scenery will help him.

let me get this right, we are loaning out 2 fowards in dixon to grays and gargan to lewes, with forster not being 100% fit and we dont have much cover in that area as it is, unless we have a couple coming in on loan, otherwise where is the logic in that?

Elphick over Lynch all day long

When Elphick has learnt the art of how to bring to ball out of defence and make a decent pass, then he will be a better player than Lynch.

I was just about to say a similiar thing myself. No-body on here knows what goes on all they can do is speculate. Lynch's attitude may be the problem or is not willing to put in the effort in training.

If, as has been rumoured, he wanted out when Wilkins was given the elbow, and stated that continuously then I'm not surprised Adams wouldn't play him. He's enough of a liability when he's not thinking like that! Also it was rumoured that a deal had been done for him in the summer, which is why Hawkins was brought in, but for some reason that deal fell through which has left Lynch high and dry and bleating that he wants out.

I hardly see where Adams has failed here. Yes, he may have been able to do more to convince Lynch to stay, but if the player wants to go and is not willing to work for a place then what more can be done?

Sounds a like a very good summing up of the situation to me.

When Lynch learns how to stay on his feet, get positioned in the right area and stay concentrated for 90 minutes, then he will be a better player than Elphick.

lynch wiill be as well known as gareth barry in 5 years time

I think I would like to be known as 'Brian Blessed in 5 years time'.

(Why do I need the 'in 5 years time bit'?)

Yeah well done Micky.

Take the biggest prospect we have had for years who established himself as half of a very strong central defensive partnership with Elphick and then send him out on loan after dropping him for a lump.

Agreed.

Adams has always had a keep the shirt policy.

Yet Lynch plays well at Northampton, then gets dropped for the Scunthorpe game. Work that one out.

Yes, he may be a bit immature but I think he's a right to be pissed off.

I just hope when he goes we get a good fee and a decent sell on clause.
